POSITION TITLE:           School Bus Driver

 

FLSA:                              Non-exempt

 

QUALIFICATIONS:                         

• High School diploma or G.E.D. 
• Ability to perform the essential job functions
• Effective interpersonal skills
• Effective grooming skills
• Ability to lift 55 pounds to shoulder height occasionally
• Ability to push / pull a minimum of 20 pounds frequently
• Must hold CDL

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

1. Maintain a professional relationship with students, faculty, administration and community patrons.

This is a part time position, receiving payment on a bi-weekly basis in accordance with the State of Delaware pay schedule.

 

Standard Requirements

• Favorable Criminal, FBI and Child Protectino Registry Background Check for the candidate who is offered employment
• TB Screening and physical
• Direct deposit of paychecks is a condition of employment for all new employees hired after December 31, 1995  

 

 

SAMPLE estimated work schedule:

AM Route:  6:00AM – 8:15AM

PM Route:  2:30PM – 4:30PM
